Hei-PROCESS - Chemical reactor

Start simple
- 1x Gateway
- 1x Double jacketed vessel
- 1x Overhead stirrer Hei-Torque Ultimate 200, Heidolph
- 1x Thermostat ECO RE 630 S Lauda
- 2x RS232 cable standard, Heidolph
This basic version includes an overhead stirrer and a thermostat and enables you to program the basic environmental parameters for chemical reactions. The stirrer speed can also be controlled by the temperature in the vessel.


Expand your system
To the basic version you can add several sensors, actuators and controllers, such as pumps and pH and conductivity controllers.
pH controller

- 1x Pump Hei-Flow Ultimate 120, Heidolph
- 1x pH sensor ARC Easy Ferm Plus, Hamilton
- 1x RS232 pump cable, Heidolph
- 1x Power cable ARC USB and data cable VP8/M12, Hamilton
- Tubing (type dependent on experiment to be performed)
With this module, on top of the basic reactor functionalities, the pH in your vessel is automatically controlled. When the measured pH is below your target, an alkaline solution is pumped into your vessel.
Conductivity controller

- 1x Pump Hei-Flow Ultimate 120, Heidolph
- 1x Conductivity sensor Conducell 4UxF Conductivity Sensor – Arc, Hamilton
- 1x RS232 pump cable, Heidolph
- 1x Power cable ARC USB and data cable VP8/M12, Hamilton
- Tubing (type dependent on experiment to be performed)
With this module, on top of the basic reactor functionalities, the conductivity in your vessel is automatically controlled: when the measured conductivity is below your target, an electrolyte solution is pumped into your vessel.
Gravimetric controller

- 1x Pump Hei-Flow Ultimate 120, Heidolph
- 1x Precision scale PCB 1000-2, Kern & Sohn
- 1x RS232 cable standard, Heidolph
- 1x RS232 pump cable, Heidolph
- Tubing (type dependent on experiment to be performed)
This module allows you to weight the amount of solution you want to add to your vessel: the pump dispenses the desired amount of solution automatically by getting constant feedback from the scale.
